Electro George Switchgear managed recently to be approved in the short list of high voltage suppliers to the EEA (Egypt Electricity Authority) to be one of four company in Egypt to execute 66 kV turn key job substations.
State-of-the-art
Electro George has constructed a new state-of-the-art workshop for this purpose in Abu Rawash Giza, to be the latest addition to the existing industrial complex. The new facility is fully prepared and equipped for the assembly and manufacture of 66 kV SF6 circuit breakers under license of SIEMENS Germany.
Furthermore, the new plant is designed to also accommodate the manufacture of 220 kV circuit breakers, soon to be part of the company's product range.
The high voltage workshop has also been equipped with the latest in test equipment necessary for routine testing and commissioning of high voltage Switchgear equipment.
