 Among the latest accomplishments, Electro George Switchgear has managed to be listed in the shortlist of the Egyptian Electricity Authority (EEA) as a High Voltage Supplier for turnkey substation projects. This accomplishment was only possible after Electro George successfully acquired license from SIEMENS, Germany for the manufacture of HV, 66 kV and 220 kV circuit breakers.

The multinational approach of Electro George proved to be the parameter that placed Electro George at the top of the candidates’ list approached by Alstom and General Electric Power Controls.
An in-depth analysis of Electro George’s capabilities at that time imposed the decision to make us the sole manufacturer.
An agreement with GE appointed Electro George as its sole licensee for manufacturing low Voltage electrical switchboards in Egypt. The top management’s directive has paved the way for Electro George to utilize local and international marketing opportunities to the highest level.
The switchboards are manufactured at Electro George’s fully modernized factory built over an area of 20000 sq. meters in the Abu Rawash Industrial Zone, outside Cairo. The plant houses the latest production machines, including state-of-the-art computer integrated CNC sheet metal machinery.
Electro George has also become ALSTOM’s sole manufacturing licensee for medium voltage switchgear up to 24 kV
